Itinerary
Day 1
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
On the first day we will leave Marrakech behind and head towards Ouarzazate. Along the way we will cross the amazing landscapes of the Atlas Mountains via the incredible Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, 2,260 metres high.
Halfway there, we will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the setting for films such as Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. Here you will have approximately two and a half hours to explore the most amazing fortified city in Morocco and have lunch.
Continuing the route we will arrive at Ouarzazate, where we will stop for half an hour to take photos of the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt.
We return along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura, and from here we will cross the Roses Valley to finally reach the Dades Valley, dinner and sleep in a charming hotel.

Day 2
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga
After breakfast we will set off towards the Dades Valley and cross the incredible Todra Gorges to walk and enjoy the scenery.
We will continue our journey towards Merzouga and cross the Jorf Palm Grove (popular for being the birthplace of the best dates in the country) and have lunch before reaching Erfoud, a small town known for its fossil fragments.
Once in Merzouga we will leave the vehicle and head into the desert on camelback in search of the camp where we will spend the night. Here, in the silence of the Erg Chebbi desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all of Morocco.
Day 3
Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tizi N’Tfrkhin – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
If there is something unforgettable in the Erg Chebbi desert, it is the sunrise. After contemplating this moment, we will take the camels again to go to the hotel.
On the way back to Marrakech we will pass through the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the village of Rissani, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty. We will cross the plateaus of Accacia Raddiana and the stone desert to reach Alnif, where we will take the road that crosses the Anti Atlas mountain range passing through Tizi N’tfarkhin. We will continue our journey through the village of Tinghir and the Dades valley.
We will arrive at Klaat M’Gouna at midday, where we will stop to eat and rest before continuing the journey to Marrakech passing through Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains.
We will be back at your hotel in Marrakech around 8:30 p.m.

End of excursion in Fez
If you wish, it is also possible to finish the excursion in Fez. In this case, the itinerary of the last day would be different.
After a good breakfast, we will head towards Rissani, the ancient capital of the Alawite sultans.
We will continue our route through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas to Ifrane, whose natural landscapes have earned it the nickname of “Moroccan Switzerland”. We will arrive in Fez at approximately 6:00 p.m.
